Office Staff

Brenda Barton, Office Manager
I have been in the dental field since 1990 and have been with Dr. Hale since 1993 as her Office Manager. I love the excitement of dentistry and the beautiful smiles it makes. I form a special bond with all Dr. Hale’s patients, making them feel like family. I like working with people and educating them about the importance of their dental health. My experience in the financial and insurance arenas help our patients afford the treatment they need and want. I really enjoy making their plans become reality.

Barbara Peden, Insurance and Hygiene Coordinator
I began my career in dentistry in 1999, looking for a challenge and more interaction in my job. I love talking to all the different people and personalities I come in contact with everyday. I have been with Dr. Hale since 2000. Through experience and updated information from seminars and personal research, I feel I bring expert skills to help my patients get the most of their insurance benefits and receive the best care for their dental health. Every day brings excitement, fun, and education in the career I have chosen.

Norma Vasquez, Office receptionist
My career in the dental field began in 2001. Immediately I realized that I had found the best fit for me. Although I have only been with Today’s Dental since 2010, I feel right at home with Dr. Hale, the staff, and the patients. I look forward to spending many years with Dr. Hale and helping all of our wonderful patients at Today’s Dental.

Clinical Staff

I have been a dental assistant since 1996. I love my job as Dr. Hale’s assistant, especially seeing the change in people when they improve their smile. It is so rewarding to see someone who was ashamed of their teeth become more confident and open with the change in their smile. I look forward to treating each patient with gentle kindness and a caring touch.

Becky Lusk, Registered Dental Hygienist
I fell in love with dentistry in 2005. My mother, who use to assist Dr. Hale introduced me to this fascinating field. Since then, there has been nothing I'd rather do. Prior to coming to Today’s Dental, I completed my certification classes in assisting, radiology, infection control, and CPR. I feel right at home with Dr. Hale and the Today’s Dental staff. I enjoy continuing my training, expanding my knowledge and improving my skills. Seeing others smile makes me happy. Most of all, I love our patients!

Cozette Woodliff, Registered Dental Hygienist
I became a dental hygienist in 1974 and have been a part of Today’s Dental since 2001. My how time flies when you are doing something that you are called to do with your life. It is about service, yet it goes beyond the work. It is about relationships that you make with your coworkers and your patients. It is an extended family. I have been blessed to be able to make great friends through my work. I enjoy being with people, getting to know them, and also helping them achieve good dental health. It is important for me to be able to make my patients feel comfortable, and confident that I have given them my best. I love helping them find that their experience with dentistry can be a good one. I love those smile.

Aubrey Schlackman, Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from dental hygiene school in 2009 and worked a little over a year at a dental office in Plano, TX. In the fall of 2010, I married my wonderful husband Bryan, and less than two months later moved to the Houston area where I began working at Today’s Dental. I thrive on building relationships with my patients and helping them understand the importance of their oral health and how it relates to their overall well being. As they do with our patients, Dr. Hale and the Today’s Dental staff made me feel like part of a family.
